Farm House (20×35 IN) Modern Digital Battle Map

Wind rustles through the thick sea of grains that surround the small house. A soft glow comes from the upstairs windows, but you were guaranteed the place was empty and a perfect hideout.

The crunch of the heavy vehicle on the gravel alerts the others that you finally made it, as they yell and unload the truck into the small storehouse. “Not those! Put those in the house.”

One man barks orders as you turn off the lights and exit the vehicle holding your side where the knife dug into you during your getaway. “‘Bout time.” The man barks at you. “Take these and follow me, we need to bury the bodies in the back.” He doesn’t even finish before a shovel is flying toward you. 

As you catch the heavy tool, your side burns, but even still the sky draws your attention. Stars. The burning lights fill the dark sky unlike anything you have ever seen before. Turning to look back, the heavy metal, stifling sounds, and overbearing lights of the city pour into the same night sky. You’re finally out.

Farm House

Quietly sitting just outside the city limits, the small wooden house peers over the crop fields that surround it. A large steel fence separates the house from the dirt road along the front of the home. A handful of smaller buildings fill the yard in front of the large porch that wraps around the home. A warehouse stores farm equipment and materials, a sealed building hides a secret alcohol still, and a heavy locked door hides stairs down into the unknown. A storm shelter? An underground bunker? The only clues are the heavy secure locks, but signs of recent use catch your eye.

Inside the home are a plethora of rooms including a kitchen, living room, closets and long entertainment area. Upstairs holds the bedroom, and a control room for industrial equipment that can be heard tilling and harvesting in the fields behind the house. The brand new net access equipment draws attention among the rest of the poorly upkept home.

For all of those fans of Blade Runner, Looper, or for any crew that needs to hide outside the city, the farm house sets the perfect scene.
